SCOTIA ITRADE ADDS MORE POWER TO THEIR MOBILE TRADING APPS

Bank of Nova Scotia's Scotia iTRADE has added enhancements to its powerful mobile trading app for Android and BlackBerry that will put even more information at the fingertips of direct investors.

These enhancements will improve the efficiency and ease of managing investments. Scotia iTRADE clients will now gain access to the following features when using the Scotia iTRADE app for BlackBerry and Android:

• Fundamental data and analyst ratings;
• Level 2 quotes on order entry which will be available for Canadian securities;
• DRIP (direct reinvesting plan) and DPP (dividend purchase plan) product indicator, which will enable clients to easily view enrolled investments.

As part of the enhancements, Scotia iTRADE will now be offering its mobile trading app on the BlackBerry 10 operating system as well as more functionality to the Scotia iTRADE app for iPad. The new features of the Scotia iTRADE app for iPad include DRIP and DPP enrolment, withdrawal of eligible securities, as well as Scotia iTRADE and Scotiabank app integration. This integration will enable customers to seamlessly switch between the banking and brokerage apps without the need to re-enter their ScotiaCard or Scotiabank credit card number and password.
