S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian indices.

Bank of Nova Scotia will redeem for $25 cash per share all of the outstanding shares of its 6.25-per-cent, five-year, rate reset, preferred shares, Series 26, and its 6.25-per-cent, five-year, rate-reset, preferred shares, Series 28, at the close on April 25, 2014. The shares of these two issues will be removed from the S&P/TSX Preferred Share, the S&P/TSX Preferred Share Laddered and the S&P/TSX North American Preferred Stock indices after the close of trading on Friday, April 25, 2014.
