BARKERVILLE ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE MINERAL TENURES

Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. has entered into an agreement with arm's-length parties to purchase a 10-per-cent interest in eight mineral claims adjacent to the corporation's Bonanza Ledge mine in British Columbia. As consideration for the purchase, the corporation has agreed to pay the vendor a cash purchase price of $400,000, in immediately available finances, and to issue the vendor an aggregate of 660,000 common shares in the capital of the corporation. The common shares issuable in connection with the acquisition will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period in accordance with applicable securities legislation. The acquisition is anticipated to close Jan. 31, 2018, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
