The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday edition that BCE has secured exclusive Canadian broadcast rights for the National Football League. A Canadian Press dispatch to The Globe says that under the new multiyear deal, NFL regular-season games will air across Bell channels on Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Bell Media already held rights for Sunday games and Monday Night Football but Thursday's matchups were previously owned by Rogers Communications. The playoffs and the Super Bowl will also continue to air on Bell Media properties. BCE closed Wednesday at $60.41, down 62 cents on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
