MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. NOW STREAMING AS CRAVETV OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES

With Canada's premium TV streaming service CraveTV now live, BCE Inc.'s Bell Media has entered into a licensing agreement with the Disney/ABC Television Group, which will make CraveTV the exclusive subscription video-on-demand home in Canada for the hit TV series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the No. 1 new television series of 2013/2014. Season one of the blockbuster hit drama will immediately be available today in the superhero, action and adventure collection on CraveTV. New episodes of the series will also become available following the completion of each subsequent season. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the latest premium TV series confirmed for CraveTV, which is now available on set-top box, apps and the CraveTV website for just $4 per month.

Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is an action-adventure Marvel franchise with massive crossover appeal, making it accessible to all viewers as a compelling serialized series. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "is now not only a very good show in its own right, it's part of Marvel's multiplatform city-state," said the Los Angeles Times. One of the hottest TV properties available, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wrapped up its record-breaking inaugural season on CTV as the No. 1 new series of the 2013/2014 broadcast year in Canada with total viewers in all key demos, with an average audience of two million viewers. An instant hit, it was the first new fall series in a decade to rank in the top four among all key demos (No. 2 A18-34, No. 3 A18-49 and No. 4 A25-54), and was the only new series of 2013/2014 to rank in the top 10 with total viewers. In its second season, the series remains a top five program among A25-54, with an average audience of 2.3 million viewers.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Clark Gregg reprises the role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel's feature films in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as he assembles a small, highly select group of agents from the worldwide law enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange and the unknown around the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Mr. Coulson's team consists of Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, a pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius biochemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers, along with Jeph Loeb and Jeffrey Bell. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.
