Ms. Jacqui VanSickle reports
DEBUT OF MYSTERIOUS NEW IMMORTALITY DRAMA FOREVER AVAILABLE NOW FOR ONLINE PREVIEW, EXCLUSIVELY AT CTV.CA
The series
debut of the anticipated new drama Forever is now available free to viewers at BCE Inc.'s CTV website and on CTV GO. Ahead of the official launch of the fall TV season, CTV
offers Canadians their first taste of new offerings with the exclusive
advance digital preview of the new series leading up to its special
two-part premiere on Monday, Sept. 22, at 10 p.m. Eastern Time/Pacific Time and Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO. Part of CTV's heroic new Monday lineup, Forever will air in its regular timeslot Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning Sept. 29, following the buzzed-about new Batman origin drama Gotham (Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT beginning Sept. 22). Forever stars Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four) as Dr. Henry Morgan, a star medical examiner who studies the dead to
solve criminal cases, but also to solve the mystery that has eluded him
for 200 years -- the answer to his own inexplicable immortality.
In the premiere episode of Forever, Dr. Morgan's exciting, adventurous, and intriguingly
long life has blessed him with amazing insight and observational
skills. So, when Dr. Morgan and detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza,
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) investigate a fatal subway
collision, Ms. Martinez is not only impressed, but her curiosity is piqued about
who he is. Meanwhile, Dr. Morgan soon discovers someone else knows his
secret, and he may not be the only immortal out there. But who is
that person and what does he want? The one person who can inject hope
into Dr. Morgan's life is Abe (Judd Hirsch, Damages), his best and only
friend. Fate has brought the two men together and they share an
unconventional bond. It's just part of the captivating mystery
surrounding Henry's strange circumstances and his long search to
uncover the cause of his condition and escape.
