Alexco Resource Corp. will list an additional 9.15 million shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the open on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, according to the TSX. As in an Aug. 15, 2014, short form prospectus, Alexco plans to sell 6.1 million units to the public at $1.15 each, raising $7,015,000. Each unit consists of one share and one-half of a share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to buy another share at $1.40 at any time before 5 p.m. (Vancouver time) on Aug. 21, 2016, assuming the offering closes on Aug. 21, 2014. The warrants will not be listed on an exchange. The company has granted the underwriter an overallotment option to buy up to 915,000 more units at the same price or up to 457,500 more warrants at 13 cents per warrant for 30 days from the closing of the offering. Alexco plans to use the money raised for exploration and development of its projects, and for general working capital.
