ATAC RESOURCES LTD. ANNOUNCES THE GRANTING OF INCENTIVE STOCK OPTIONS AND THE SURRENDER FOR CANCELLATION OF CERTAIN INCENTIVE STOCK OPTIONS

Atac Resources Ltd. has granted incentive stock options to directors, officers, employees and consultants, entitling them to purchase up to a total of 2.47 million common shares at a price of 31 cents for a period of five years, which options will vest on a quarterly basis commencing three months from the date of grant.

The company has also accepted the surrender for cancellation of options held by certain directors, officers, employees and consultants in respect of a total of 2,177,000 shares (an option in respect of 100,000 shares formerly exercisable at $2.60 per share, options in respect of a total of 2,057,000 shares formerly exercisable at $3 per share and an option in respect of 20,000 shares formerly exercisable at $1.70 per share).
