ALIX APPOINTS DR. MICHEL BOILY TO ADVISORY BOARD
Alix Resources Corp. has appointed Dr. Michel Boily, MSc, PhD, PGeo, to its advisory board.
Dr. Boily is an expert geochemist and metallogenist specializing in lithium mineralization associated with granitic pegmatites as well as rare metal mineralization (rare earth elements, niobium, tantalum, yttrium, beryllium, lithium) associated with peralkaline and peraluminous granitoid complexes. Dr. Boily has spent time as an exploration geologist with experience working in the Sonora and Chihuahua states of Mexico and has also conducted exploration and technical evaluation of gold and base metals properties located in Archean greenstone belts of Quebec, in the Anti-Atlas Proterozoic windows of Morocco and in Northern Mexico and Argentina. Dr. Boily graduated from the Universite de Montreal in 1988 with a PhD in geochemistry. Since 1984, Dr. Boily has been the author of various publications in international scientific journals and has written numerous technical reports. Dr. Boily is currently a registered professional geologist in good standing with l'Ordre des Geologues du Quebec.
Michael England, Alix chief executive officer, commented: "We are very pleased to have Dr. Boily join the Alix team. His significant lithium and rare earth experience will be invaluable as we continue to advance our Electra lithium project in Sonora, Mexico."
The company further announces that it has entered into agreements to issue shares to settle outstanding debt of $80,000 with an arm's-length creditor and a non-arm's-length creditor. The company intends to issue 1.6 million common shares of Alix Resources at a deemed price of five cents. The transaction is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
