Alix to start Electra work program in early November

2015-11-04 08:27 ET - News Release

Mr. Michael England reports

ALIX TO COMMENCE WORK ON NEWLY ACQUIRED PROJECT ADJOINING BACANORA'S "SONORA LITHIUM PROJECT" LOCATED IN SONORA, MEXICO

Alix Resources Corp. has provided an update on the initial phase work program on its newly acquired Electra project located in Sonora, Mexico, set to commence in the coming weeks. Alix's Electra project consists of two large exploration concession applications covering 22,625 hectares adjoining Bacanora Minerals Ltd. and Rare Earths Minerals PLC's Sonora lithium project.

The first phase of the work program will commence on the Tule concession of Alix's Electra project in early November and will focus on two initial high-priority targets determined by Alix geologists.

The Tule concession, comprising 18,125 hectares (approximately 15 kilometres east-west by 12 kilometres north-south), covers the extension of three lithium-bearing horizons as outlined in recent BCN/REM presentations. The mineralized trend on the BCN/REM property has been interpreted to extend approximately 15 kilometres south-southeast from the La Ventana lithium deposit to the location of another lithium prospect, and at least an additional 12 kilometres from this point, toward the Alix Tule concession.

President Mike England stated: "The Alix geological team is very eager to commence exploration on the Tule project. Having 18,000 hectares of prospective lithium ground bordering and on trend with Bacanora Minerals -- the first company to strike a lithium supply deal with Tesla Motors Inc. -- is a definite cause for enthusiasm for Alix shareholders" (see BCN press release dated Aug. 28, 2015).
