ADVANCE GOLD APPOINTS ALLAN BARRY LABOUCAN AS AN ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR AND PROVIDES A CORPORATE UPDATE

Allan Barry Laboucan, Advance Gold Corp.'s president and chief executive officer, has been appointed by the board of directors as an additional director of the company.

Following the annual general meeting of the company's shareholders on Dec. 16, 2016, and the subsequent appointment of Mr. Laboucan as a director, the company's board of directors comprises: James T. Gillis, chair; Mr. Laboucan, president and chief executive officer; Jeffrey S. Ackert; Ali Afif Fawaz; Ozvaldo Iadarola; and Christopher J. Wild.

Mr. Iadarola, Mr. Laboucan and Mr. Wild were appointed by the board as the company's audit committee.
