Gregg Mulholland, the West Vancouver man charged in the United States for fraudulently manipulating several listings, must remain in jail, at least for now. On Thursday, July 9, he made his initial appearance before a New York judge following his June 23 arrest at the Phoenix International Airport. He did not enter a plea at that appearance, nor did he make any effort to convince the judge to release him. As a result, the judge ordered him detained for trial, but allowed him to reapply for release in the future.

The order leaves Mr. Mulholland, 46, residing in MDC Brooklyn, a jail that holds male and female prisoners of all security levels. The jail houses about 1,900 inmates, most of whom are awaiting trial. Mr. Mulholland has been there since the U.S. Marshals Service transported him to New York three weeks ago.

His arrival in New York came shortly after his arrest, which occurred as he was on a flight from Canada to Mexico that included a layover in Phoenix. Unfortunately for Mr. Mulholland, prosecutors in New York had filed a sealed criminal case against him just five days prior to his flight. During the layover authorities arrested him on those charges.

This story brought a tear of joy to my eyes. The more of these scumballs that get locked up the more legit firms can get back to business.

Right on Shoes! Looks like the new marshal in town, along with his curvy side-kick are going after all the cretins and are making a name for themselves. And although they may not be playing entirely by the rules, these Architects of Justice are getting the job done!
