The TSX Venture Exchange closed up 3.85 points to 581.95 Friday, ending the week up 11.52 points.
Francesco Aquilini's first capital pool shell, J55 Capital Corp. (FIVE: halted), will hold a meeting of shareholders on Monday in Vancouver to seek approval for the shell's qualifying transaction. For its QT, the shell is acquiring Aquilini GameCo Inc., a related party that is in the process of acquiring a Toronto e-sports company called Luminosity Gaming Inc. The shell will roll back 1 for 1.25, leaving it with 15.2 million shares issued, then issue a combined 312,488,743 shares to GameCo's and Luminosity's shareholders.
J55 Capital has another deal lined up. After closing its QT, it will acquire Enthusiast Gaming Holdings Inc. (EGLX: $1.48), a Toronto company that operates websites about video games. Enthusiast also organizes conferences about video games. In connection with this deal, J55 Capital will roll back 1 for 8, leaving it with 40,961,091 shares issued, then issue 26,899,269 shares to Enthusiast's shareholders and 2,777,777 shares to GameCo's debenture holders.
