The TSX Venture Exchange closed down 1.40 points to 587.84 Friday, ending the week down 8.70 points. Eva Nakano's first capital pool shell, Kismet Resources Corp. (KSMT: halted), plans to acquire Diitalk Communications Inc. for the shell's qualifying transaction. The shell, which has four million shares issued, will issue 68,483,385 shares to its target's shareholders.

Diitalk Communications has an app called Diitalk that is similar to Skype. Both apps enable users to make local and international calls, as well as send messages. Skype-to-Skype calls are free, and the same is true for Diitalk. One difference is that Skype requires an Internet connection, but Diitalk does not. Diitalk can place a call through a user's wireless carrier signal, that is, your regular Rogers or Telus cellphone line.

To call from Skype to a cellphone or landline, a Skype user needs to buy Skype credits. As for Diitalk, on the first day of each month, it gives its users up to 50 credits, each of which it calls a Dii coin. In an attempt to sound trendy, Diitalk Communications refers to Dii coins as a cryptocurrency. The company also says it is developing "blockchain infrastructure ... as a compelling addition" to the app. It is unclear who is being compelled by this blockchain talk, if anyone.
