The TSX Venture Exchange closed up 2.40 points to 625.26 Monday. James McRoberts's first capital pool shell, Haw Capital Corp. (HAW: halted), has abandoned its plan to launch Mr. McRoberts's payment processing firm, Merrco Payments Inc. The shell provides no reason for why the deal has fallen through, but perhaps Merrco will eventually turn up on an exchange by another way. In any case, Haw Capital says it is already working on a new potential qualifying transaction, though for now it reveals only that the deal is with "a private technology company." First-time shell-maker Mr. McRoberts is an e-commerce consultant in Calgary. He listed Haw Capital in March, 2017, with a $354,000 initial public offering at 10 cents.
Stephen Ehrlich has submitted a filing statement to take public his cryptocurrency promotion, Voyager Digital Holdings Inc., through his NEX shell, UC Resources Ltd. (UC: suspended). The shell, which has 29,950,364 shares issued, will issue 17,984,748 shares to acquire Voyager from its shareholders.
