The TSX Venture Exchange lost 1.61 points to 602.44 Thursday. Craig Leon's third capital pool shell, Revelstoke Equity Inc., has completed its qualifying transaction by launching a mobile app developer. Today, that mobile app developer began trading under its own name, Zonetail Inc. (ZONE: $0.16). It reached an intraday high of 18 cents before closing at 16 cents on 87,300 shares.

A user of Zonetail's app gains access to information about his condo or about a hotel where he is staying. As Zonetail explains it, the information in its app is pretty much the same information that one can find on a condo manager's website or on a hotel's website. In Zonetail's own words, it "provides condo management companies a mobile platform that allows them to offer to their residents all the information found in the building website directly on the resident's mobile device." Besides the information culled from condo managers' and hotels' websites, Zonetail's app shows ads from local retailers and restaurants near each condo or hotel that has agreed to be a part of the app. These local ads sound potentially helpful and potentially annoying. Zonetail's app is free; the company generates revenue from the ads. To encourage condo managers and hotels to add their properties to Zonetail's app, Zonetail offers them a share in local ad revenue, which seems to assume there will be some.
