The TSX Venture Exchange dropped 22.00 points to 660.16 Monday. Emprise Capital Corp.'s NEX shell, Ripper Oil and Gas Inc. (RYP: halted), plans to acquire 2656066 Ontario Ltd., which owns the Iron Point vanadium property in Nevada. The shell will roll back 1 for 1.5, leaving it with 17,930,434 shares issued, then issue 41,837,681 shares to its target's sole shareholder, Casino Gold Corp.

Casino Gold is a landholder in Nevada. Its president and chief executive officer is Collin Kettell, a co-founder of Palisade Global Investments Ltd., which mainly invests in resource juniors. Mr. Kettell hosts an on-line radio show about the resource sector called Palisade Radio. He is also the president of a video production company called Palisade Productions LLC. Previously, he directed 30 episodes of a half-hour television show, Live! In Tallahassee, which aired on Fox Tallahassee from 2009 to 2010. It was an entertainment show that featured local events and local businesses.
