The TSX Venture Exchange gained 1.12 points to 702.05 Friday, but it ended the week down 5.32 points. Alexandros Tzilios has filed a preliminary prospectus to list his second capital pool shell, Perihelion Capital Ltd. It plans to sell a $250,000 initial public offering at 10 cents through Mackie Research Capital Corp.
Mr. Tzilios, 36, is the president and owner of Perihelion Holdings Ltd., a microlending company in Vancouver. He is also a licensed property manager, offering his services through PacificWest Property Management Ltd.
From February, 2008, to January, 2009, Mr. Tzilios was an investor relations man for Oro Gold Resources Ltd. and its spinoff, Oro Silver Resources Ltd. The two companies later merged back together, with the combined company now trading as Marlin Gold Mining Ltd. (MLN: $0.24). While Mr. Tzilios was with Oro Gold, the stock declined from 70 cents to 15 cents. While he was with Oro Silver, the stock fell from 70 cents to five cents.
