The TSX Venture Exchange gained 4.47 points to 717.58 Wednesday. Konstantine Tsakumis has filed a preliminary prospectus to list his first capital pool shell, Farstarcap Investment Corp. It plans to sell a $200,000 initial public offering at 10 cents through Canaccord Genuity Corp.
In September, 2017, the shell sold two million escrow shares at five cents. Mr. Tsakumis, 49, a Vancouver investor relations man, bought 400,000. From 2010 to 2013, he was with Mark Morabito's IR and management services company, King & Bay West Management Corp. In 2011, Mr. Tsakumis was the IR man for Mr. Morabito's Alderon Iron Ore Corp. (IRON: $0.34), which at the time traded up to $4.20. In 2013, Mr. Tsakumis was the IR man for Mr. Morabito's Crosshair Energy Corp., which has since remade itself into Canada Jetlines Ltd. (JET: $0.52). Canada Jetlines is in the process of leasing two jets for operations planned to begin in 2019. Both Canada Jetlines and Alderon Iron remain clients of King & Bay West.
