The TSX Venture Exchange lost 3.65 points to 760.88 Friday, but it ended the week up 3.36 points. Robert Meister has filed a preliminary prospectus to list his first capital pool shell, Cabernet Capital Corp. The shell plans to sell a $250,000 to $500,000 initial public offering at 10 cents, through Haywood Securities Inc.

Cabernet has two million escrowed shares, which it sold at five cents in April. Mr. Meister, 45, a Vancouver investor relations man, holds 500,000 escrowed shares. As well as being the president of Cabernet, he is also the president of Navy Resources Corp. (NVY: $0.20), an idle and illiquid resource promotion. Mr. Meister, evidently not your usual IR man, is also a director of Steve Bajic's 10th capital pool shell, Huffington Capital Corp. (HU: $0.16).

Mr. Meister has three fellow directors at Cabernet Capital: Hani Zabaneh, Melissa Bajic and Dorian Banks. Mr. Zabaneh, 45, is a promoter in Vancouver. He holds one million escrowed shares of the shell. He is a director of Navy Resources and of Mr. Bajic's ninth capital pool shell, Margaux Red Capital Inc. (MXC: $0.105). From 2005 to 2011, Mr. Zabaneh was the vice-president of administration at Metrobridge Networks International Inc., a Vancouver-based wireless network operator.
