The TSX Venture Exchange lost 1.57 points to 791.31 Thursday. Peter Hughes's halted capital pool shell, Snobro Enterprises Inc. (SIQ), plans to launch a snowmobile business for its qualifying transaction. The shell is acquiring the rights to develop, produce and sell snow bikes designed by Gautier Arcouette of Mansonville, Que. Mr. Arcouette has applied for patents for a snow bike design and for a foldable snow bike design. To acquire the patent rights, the shell must pay $20,000 and issue 300,000 shares to Mr. Arcouette. As part of the QT, Snobro must also appoint Mr. Arcouette as chief technology officer, with a salary of $60,000.

In 2013, Mr. Arcouette tested a prototype for a different snowmobile, an all-terrain vehicle for which he already held a patent. The vehicle was called Snow Concept. It looked a bit like a motorbike, but instead of having wheels on the front and back, it was flanked by tracks such as those on army tanks. One or two days before Snobro announced its QT plan, the Snow Concept website went off-line for redevelopment. (It is still off-line.) The website had photos and videos of the Snow Concept prototype, and website visitors were encouraged to leave comments. So far, there are no details available on how the snow bikes would work or if they are related to Snow Concept.
