The TSX Venture Exchange rose 7.09 points to 826.37 Monday. Guy Le Bel's halted capital pool shell, Redquest Capital Corp. (RQM), plans to acquire Quebec gold explorer Harfang Exploration Inc. for the shell's qualifying transaction. The shell has not yet released the terms of the QT, except it plans to roll back 1 for 4, which would leave it with 1,947,355 postconsolidated shares issued.
Harfang owns the Lac Menarik and Menarik-Est properties, comprising 83 and 64 mining claims, respectively, in the James Bay region of Northern Quebec. In October, 2016, the company received $15,000 from Quebec mining financier SIDEX LP. Then in December, it received another $75,000. Harfang's president is Francois Goulet, a geologist in Montreal. Mr. Goulet was a consultant to Glencore PLC in 2013, in the Northwest Territories, then again in 2015, in Quebec. From January, 2012, to November, 2014, he was also a consultant to Maya Gold & Silver Inc. (MYA: $0.135) in Morocco.
