The TSX Venture Exchange lost 4.58 points to 715.59 Friday but still ended the week up 21.87 points. Two shells with reverse takeovers in progress have resumed trading. Conrad Clemiss's Apple Capital Inc. (ALE) resumed today and jumped 21 cents to 30 cents on 214,800 shares. Mazen Haddad's NEX-listed Knowlton Capital Inc. (KWC) resumed on June 1 and has since doubled to 20 cents.

Mr. Clemiss's Apple Capital is acquiring YDreams Brazil, which designs, builds and installs interactive technology products such as touch-screen kiosks in museums and automated banking machines. YDreams Brazil is formally called YDreams Brasil Servicos e Solucoes Interativas Ltda. It has offices in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. It was spun out of a Portuguese tech firm called YDreams Informatica SA in 2007. Apple Capital, which has 2,543,032 shares issued, will issue 30 million shares to YDreams Brazil's shareholders. On closing of the acquisition, Apple Capital will give up its simple, easy-to-say name and become a mouthful, YDreams Global Interactive Technologies Inc.
