The TSX Venture Exchange gained 1.42 points to 500.94 Monday, climbing back out of the 400s after 13 trading days. Steve Forget has filed a preliminary prospectus to list his third capital pool shell, Cortina Capital Corp. Haywood Securities Inc. is selling Cortina's initial public offering of two million shares at 10 cents. The IPO will add $200,000 to the shell's coffers, which currently have $831,000 from two rounds of share sales. Last month, Cortina sold a private placement of 4.81 million shares at 10 cents for $481,000, to buyers yet unknown. In October, 2015, it sold seven million escrowed shares at five cents for $350,000.

The holders of Cortina's escrowed shares are its six directors: president Mr. Forget holds 2.5 million escrowed shares, chief financial officer Suzanne Desrosiers has one million, secretary Chris Elie has one million, Eric Caron has one million, Dr. Sylvain Boucher has one million and Mario Girard has 500,000.
