The TSX Venture Exchange fell 1.11 points to 692 Thursday. Craig Leon has filed a preliminary prospectus to list a new capital pool shell, Revelstoke Equity Inc. Hampton Securities Ltd. will sell the shell's initial public offering of between two million and four million shares at 20 cents.
Last month, Revelstoke sold one million shares at 10 cents. Mr. Leon, the shell's 47-year-old president, is the largest shareholder with 750,000 escrow shares. He is currently the chairman of Revive Therapeutics Ltd. (RVV: $0.70), a research and development pharmaceutical company working on drugs for the treatment of gout and also orphan drug indications such as Rett syndrome. Before Revive, he was the CEO of Titan Medical Inc. (TMD: $1.66), a robotic surgical technology company that he co-founded and stayed at for seven years, leaving in March, 2013. Mr. Leon also spent six years, 2003 to 2009, as the chief operating officer of Redwood Asset Management Inc.
