The TSX Venture Exchange fell 2.74 points to 702.85 Friday, ending the week up 3.97 points. Bok Wong's halted capital pool shell, Maple Power Capital Corp. (MPX), expects to complete its acquisition of Jorey Chernett's Intrinsic4D LLC next month.

Maple Power will roll back 1:4, reducing its outstanding shares to 2,844,781, after which it will acquire Intrinsic4D for an as-yet unstated number of postconsolidated shares. The shell will change its name to Intrinsic4D Inc. before it resumes trading on the TSX-V.

Intrinsic4D is an imaging software company with an office in Michigan where it turns magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) scans into 360-degree, 3-D images that doctors can use to plan procedures. Mr. Chernett, who founded Intrinsic4D in 2011, promoted the company's technology at a TEDx Detroit talk last year, stating that he believes his company's images help patients understand diagnoses better than if their doctors have no pictures, and go about explaining complex procedures with their jargon-laden medical terms. Intrinsic4D also targets personal injury lawyers as potential customers. Colourful and interactive images probably make it easier to grab a jury's attention than a black and white MRI scan.
