The TSX Venture Exchange added 5.85 points to 673.16 Monday. So far this month, the exchange has welcomed two new capital pool shell listings, Todd Hilditch's Riley Resources Ltd. (RLY) and Pat DiCapo's POCML 3 Inc. (PWR), and there are more capital pool shells on the way. Anton Konovalov, a 28-year-old Russian who lives in Toronto, has filed a final prospectus to list his first capital pool shell, Dominion General Investment Corp. The Toronto brokerage firm Hampton Securities Ltd. is in charge of selling the shell's initial public offering of between $500,000 and $4.75-million at $1 a share, 10 times more than the minimum amount of 10 cents a share that a shell must charge. It is rare for a capital pool shell to sell IPO shares at $1, but it happens occasionally. The most recent capital pool shell to list after selling IPO shares at $1 was James Paterson's Decisive Dividend Corp. (DE), which went public in September, 2013, and is in the middle of planning to acquire a profitable stove and furnace manufacturer, Blaze King Industries, as its qualifying transaction.
