The TSX Venture Exchange added 6.55 points to 784.39 Tuesday. Rocky Bellotti's first capital pool shell, BFK Capital Corp. (BFK), continued to climb on its second day of trading, adding 20 cents to $1 on 5,000 shares, which leaves the stock at a 40-cent premium to its 60-cent initial public offering. Tomorrow, Larry Doan's new capital pool shell, Marching Moose Capital Corp. (MMC), will join BFK Capital on the TSX-V. Marching Moose is the third capital pool shell to list this month and the 19th this year. Canaccord Genuity Corp. sold the shell's $300,000 IPO of two million shares at 15 cents. Canaccord has listed all three of November's new capital pool shells, Aumento Capital V Corp. (AMN), BFK Capital and Marching Moose. As well, Canaccord handled Laurence Ho's Maple Peak Investments Inc. (MAP: $0.75), which went public in early October. With four capital pool shells added to its list of corporate clients in 2014, Canaccord is now ahead of Raymond James Ltd., PI Financial Corp. and Richardson GMP Ltd., each of which has listed three capital pool shells this year.
