The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Friday was a so-so 70-79-141. The TSX Venture Exchange lost one point to 589 while polished diamond prices were flat. Gerald Panneton's Prophecy Development Corp. (PCY) added one cent to 50 cents on 2.41 million shares. The company sold 12 million shares last week at 46 cents for its Gibellini vanadium project in Nevada.

Gary Thompson's Brixton Metals Corp. (BBB), down one-half cent to 14.5 cents on 20,000 shares, has hit kimberlite in 10 of 11 holes on its big kimberlite target on its Langis cobalt project, near Cobalt in Northeastern Ontario. The intervals varied from 20 metres to 70 metres, starting immediately below overburden in a pattern of "subflat layers" above the Archaean volcanic base. In other words, Brixton has hit plenty of kimberlite pancakes in the big target. The drilling suggests a body at least 20 hectares in area, but it has not yet hit a pipe that could be the source of all that kimberlite.
