The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Wednesday was 61-74-131. The TSX Venture Exchange gained one point to 749 while polished diamond prices were flat. Dominion Diamond Corp. (DDC) continued its glacial rally, adding another cent to $13.34 on 373,000 shares. This was the 11th gain in a row and the 18th in the last 21 sessions. The stock traded for just $10.46 in mid-September. Dominion will reveal its third quarter results on Thursday.

George Ding and Harold Burgess's Saville Resources Ltd. (SRE: $0.015) has been halted since August, when it revealed a plan to acquire the Munn Lake diamond project in the Northwest Territories from Jody Dahrouge's DG Resource Management Ltd. and David Hodge's Zimtu Capital Corp. (ZC: $0.18). The company had just $10,000 in cash at the end of July, it owed $175,000 and it has not raised a cent since then. Nevertheless, Saville apparently still intends to press on with its resurrection through the old Munn Lake project.
