The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Friday was a positive 47-41-160 as the TSX Venture Exchange gained three points to 670. Polished diamond prices fell 0.75 per cent. Robert Gannicott's Dominion Diamond Corp. (DDC) hit a new seven-year high, jumping 64 cents to $22.49 on 514,000 shares. Mr. Gannicott, who departed on what was hoped to be a three-month break for an important medical treatment is over a month past his expected return date. Interim CEO, Brendan Bell, has so far been pursuing the course set by Mr. Gannicott. Pacific Wildcat Resources Corp. (PAW). Pacific, which traded at 3.5 cents earlier this week, crashed 1.5 cents to one-half cent on 6.56 million shares. The company has been silent but Twitter erupted this morning with reports a Kenyan court has ruled against the company, which was seeking to overturn the revocation of its mining licence for the Mrima Hill rare earth deposit.
