Vancouver's Brent Pierce has filed a case in the Supreme Court of British Columbia in which he complains about mortgage fraud that occurred amidst serious health problems and an assault against him earlier this year. The allegations are contained in a petition that Mr. Pierce filed at the Vancouver courthouse on March 29, 2016. In it, he explains how his family trust could suffer the loss of millions of dollars after unexplained actions by his second cousin.
The problems, as described by Mr. Pierce, arise from a pair of mortgages that his family indirectly held, worth a combined $11.5-million. Mr. Pierce does not explain how he came to be owed the money, but does say that the mortgages were attached to properties in Surrey and West Vancouver. The corporate entities that held the mortgages were in the name of Mr. Pierce's second cousin, a lawyer named Gary Clark. He held them in trust for Mr. Pierce and his family, the petition states.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.
I guess someone turned to wild west justice to get satisfaction on Mr. Pierce for his crooked schemes.
