WESTJET REPORTS ON VOTING RESULTS FROM 2013 ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

WestJet Airlines Ltd. is releasing the voting results from its annual general meeting held Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Calgary, Alta.

The total number of shares represented by shareholders present in person and by proxy at the meeting was 61,207,973, representing 46.25 per cent of WestJet's issued and outstanding common voting shares and variable voting shares. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business, including election of each of the 13 director nominees.
