SINO-FOREST STAY PERIOD UNDER COMPANIES' CREDITORS ARRANGEMENT ACT EXTENDED

The Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) has granted the request by Sino-Forest Corp. for an extension of the stay period granted under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act to June 1, 2012. In its initial order obtained on March 30, 2012, the court provided a 30-day stay period.
