STELLAR PACIFIC VENTURES DRILLS 20 METERS OF 1.74 G/T GOLD UNDER BALANDOUGOU SOLOTOMO ARTISAN DIGGING SITE

Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. has released the results of the compilation of the drill program completed on the Solotomo artisan digging site. The program was designed to confirm the vertical and horizontal extension of the gold mineralization at the Solotomo site.

The program consisted of 22 reverse circulation holes totalling 1,547 metres drilled on seven sections 50 meters apart.

A total of 12 holes intersected important gold mineralization over substantial width. The mineralized structure was tested over a strike length of 300 metres and is open to the southwest.

The geochemistry of the area shows that the Solotomo gold structure strikes northeast-southwest. The Solotomo gold mineralization may possibly extend over a minimum of 600 metres to the southwest and 1,000 metres to the northeast.

The Solotomo pit is considered the most important artisan gold site in the area. The reconnaissance and sampling of this particular area by Stellar led to the Solotomo discovery, a large and strong gold-in-soil anomaly laying just east of the Solotomo pit and extending for over three kilometres.

Trenching over certain anomalies and drill results announced earlier has revealed important extensive gold structures. More drill results are expected from the Solotomo discovery program. Stellar wishes to inform shareholders that technical problems at the sample preparation laboratory at the UltraGold facilities, combined with the exceptionally high workload at SGS facilities at Siguiri, have resulted in important delays in the results delivery. The company was informed that the situation is now back to normal and that flow of results should begin again.

In planning for high-working activity in the Solotomo area, Stellar has started the construction of a satellite camp on-site to facilitate logistics and save on travel time. A second phase of 10,000 metres of drilling is scheduled to follow the compilation of all results of the current phase.
