NORTHWEST HEALTHCARE PROPERTIES REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF TRUSTEES

The nominees listed in the management information circular for the annual meeting of unitholders of Northwest Healthcare Properties Real Estate Investment Trust were elected as trustees of the REIT. Detailed results of the vote for the election of trustees held at the meeting on Tuesday May 14, 2013, in Toronto, if a ballot had been taken and based solely on the proxies received by the REIT, are set out in the attached table.
