Ms. Alexandra Delanghe reports

MDC PARTNERS EXPANDS GLOBAL FOOTPRINT WITH CHINA OFFERINGS

MDC Partners Inc.'s partner agency Anomaly is opening a Shanghai office, further extending MDC's global footprint in China. The Anomaly China office will be the second MDC partner agency office opened in China this year, following the January launch of the Allison+Partners Global China Practice headquartered in Beijing.

"MDC is designed to nimbly and efficiently support the ambitions of our clients, driving innovation wherever they aim to grow their businesses," said Miles Nadal, chairman and chief executive officer of MDC Partners. "As the fastest-growing major consumer market in the world, China represents a significant opportunity for global marketers, and we have seen great demand in the market for the exceptional talent and transformational approach to business our agencies offer. As MDC Partners expands its Chinese presence, we are thrilled to continue to fuel that talent to drive superior financial return for our partner clients."

Reinforcing MDC's and its partner agencies' reputation for attracting the best-in-class global talent, the two agencies have enlisted top talent from the region to lead their new offerings. Anomaly China will be led by Eric Lee and Elvis Chau, as managing director and executive creative director, respectively. Mr. Lee and Mr. Chau bring to Anomaly deep experience across several Asia-Pacific markets, and come to Anomaly from JWT Shanghai. Mr. Chau, who has been awarded nearly every creative award in the marketing communications industry, won China's first-ever Cannes Lion Grand Prix, and has been named one of Fast Company's most creative people in business.

Leading Allison+Partners' Global China Practice as managing director is industry veteran David Wolf, previously president and chief executive officer of Wolf Group Asia (WGA), a Beijing-based strategic corporate communications advisory firm. There, Mr. Wolf served a range of clients, including Discovery Networks, Motorola Mobility, Google, Foxconn, Blizzard, AOL, About and Irdeto, winning both client and industry accolades, and was named 2012 Asia-Pacific Boutique Consultancy of the Year by SABRE/Holmes Report.
