MAUDORE APPOINTS NEW CHAIRMAN; ESTABLISHES TECHNICAL ADVISORY BOARD

Maudore Minerals Ltd. has appointed Robert Pevenstein to succeed Ronald Shorr as non-executive chairman of the board of directors of the company with immediate effect. Mr. Pevenstein has served as an independent director of the company since November, 2010.

Mr. Pevenstein has extensive corporate governance experience and currently serves as chairman of Emida Corp., a technology-driven networks distribution company, and on the board of directors of the University of Maryland Medical System, where he also chairs the finance committee. Mr. Shorr continues to guide the company as chief executive officer, president and a director.

The company also announced today that it has established a technical advisory board, which will consist of up to four members from various disciplines in the mining sector, to supplement the technical expertise of the board of directors and to assist the company with the technical evaluation, development and related aspects of its projects. The company is in the process of identifying the individuals who will comprise the technical advisory board. Further announcements regarding the constitution of the technical advisory board will be made in due course.
