The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation pertaining to a binding letter of intent dated April 16, 2012, between Minera Focus SAC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Focus Ventures Ltd.) and Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA, whereby the company is disposing of its 25-per-cent interest and royalty in the Minas Chanca project, Peru. As consideration, Focus will receive from Buenaventura $2.5-million (U.S.) In addition, Buenaventura will subscribe for 3.75 million common shares of Focus Ventures via private placement.
