New York Merc crude for June delivery added nine cents to $94.30 (all figures in this para U.S.). Brent for June added 90 cents to $103.50. West Texas Intermediate added five cents to $94.74, while Western Canadian Select traded at a discount of $20.45 to WTI ($74.249), unchanged. The TSX energy index lost 1.54 points to close at 246.39.

Pinecrest Energy Inc. (PRY) lost six cents to 82 cents on 2.45 million shares. The slide has to do with the disappointing first quarter results, but the company is also facing criticism from another corner: A disgruntled ex-employee of one of its contractors is accusing his old co-workers and Wade Becker, president and chief executive officer of Pinecrest, of being "a bunch of dirtbags." In a 13-minute video on YouTube, Ron Walker, posting under the name "prospectingron," describes how he worked for Rabbits Oilfield Services, a trucking company doing contract work for Pinecrest in the Red Earth area of Alberta. As Mr. Walker tells it, he was being trained on a tanker truck when the trainer flipped the truck, injuring Mr. Walker, who needed to go the hospital. This, he says, caused the company to fire him. He also accuses the office manager of stealing his things, including a slow cooker and a family heirloom. Mr. Walker says he contacted Mr. Becker, who allegedly told him, "I completely empathize with you, Ron, and I'm going to have my operations manager correct this situation immediately." Mr. Walker says Mr. Becker never came through and then stopped responding to Mr. Walker's calls and text messages. Mr. Walker has filed theft charges in Alberta against Rabbits Oilfield Services, its owner and its office manager (who he also alleges is a prostitute). He has also filed complaints with the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety.

well to appease the 30 to 50 people in each area who have no jobs, no lifestyle other than $100 per year in expenditures, perhaps we should all go commie style as Vancouver city council would like, and we all use bikes to move around and transport goods- stop all reliance on oil, just like the little red book mao days of china old.
