LANCASTER, N.Y., June 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ecology and Environment, Inc. (E & E) (NASDAQ:EEI) has announced that JoAnn Shea will be joining the company in August 2018 as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). In her new role, Shea will be part of E & E’s Executive Team and will lead efforts to execute corporate business strategy, accelerate corporate growth, and achieve excellence in business performance. She most recently served as Vice President of Finance at CH2M, where she worked for 20 years and has previously served as Acting Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer.

The CAO is a new position at E & E. Shea will have responsibility for and oversight of the operations of accounting and finance, human resources, and information technology, and will report directly to the CEO.   

Shea has a proven track record in aligning financial objectives with operational goals, and brings over 30 years of strong financial experience to E & E, including public company financial reporting, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, federal government contracting compliance, treasury, information technology, mergers and acquisitions, and human resource issues.
