James Dines, writing in a Feb. 28, 2014, issue of The Dines Letter, says buy Growlife Inc. at 37 U.S. cents. This is the first time he has recommended the stock, which he includes in his new list of Pot Luck picks. He does not discuss Growlife in this issue; he just includes the buy on the newsletter's back page. Elsewhere, he says he figures the pot industry will spread, especially if encouraged by state governments that like the idea of a new source of revenue. So far, Mr. Dines says he is not aware of any mainstream brokers, banks, media or anyone else recommending pot stocks, even though they are right under our noses, so to speak. Mr. Dines says he is not afraid to be the first in a new boom, because that is where the biggest profits often await concealed, but this leaves him in the uncomfortable position of being "The Original Pot Bug." He asks his readers to please not call him that, although he says he will do what he did when he was the first in other fields such as gold, silver, China, uranium and rare earths.
