Company Earns Distinction for Seventh Consecutive Year for Commitment to Customers, Communities, Employees and the Environment

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PG&E Corporation today announced it has again been selected for the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index, which lists North American companies that lead their industries in corporate economic, environmental and social performance. The company was one of only nine U.S. energy utilities to make the North America Index. This marks the seventh consecutive year in which PG&E has been included in the North America Index.

"We are honored that our ongoing work to become a more sustainable company continues to be recognized by this leading benchmark," said Tony Earley, chairman, CEO and president of PG&E Corporation. "Our commitment to sustainability is essential to our everyday operations as we work to deliver safe, reliable, affordable and clean energy to our customers.
