LOS ANGELES and LANHAM, Md., Nov. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 2U, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWOU), recently announced a new partnership with the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy to offer two online graduate degrees for professionals across the country. Combined, these degrees will constitute a new Domestic Graduate Program (DGP) in the Public Administration vertical for 2U.

USC Price will offer a Master of Planning (MPL@USC) delivered online. With more than half of the global population living in cities, there is growing demand for creative and knowledgeable urban planning professionals. The planning curriculum will integrate theory and practice, and draw on the other core disciplines at USC Price including public policy, administration and real estate. MPL@USC is expected to launch in January 2019.

The partnership also includes an online Master of Public Policy (MPP@USC). Through an interdisciplinary curriculum, students will develop "knowledge in action" through analytical and theoretical competencies combined with immersive experiential learning. MPP@USC is expected to launch in 2020.

Ranked fourth among public affairs schools by U.S. News & World Report, USC Price places in the top 1.5 percent of nearly 300 schools of public affairs nationwide.
