HOUSTON, May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- It's a triple play for BBVA Compass' mobile app, which was honored with the 2016 Javelin Mobile Banking Leader award for Functionality for the third consecutive year in Javelin Strategy & Research's Mobile Banking Financial Institution Scorecard. BBVA Compass was also named a Leader in Most Comprehensive Alerts category for the first time.

According to Javelin, BBVA Compass was again recognized for its leadership in functionality, scoring points for its "mobile-first features like pre-login balance viewing, card controls such as card activation and reordering, customization of mobile deposit limits, and a broad range of money-movement capabilities." For alerts, BBVA Compass scored a perfect 100 for providing real-time or near real-time information about customers' bank accounts.
