WABCO Reman Solutions Named 'Most Popular Remanufacturer' in China; Continues as First and Only Licensed Supplier in China to Remanufacture Air Compressors for Commercial Vehicles

WABCO Holdings Inc. (NYSE: WBC) (www.wabco-auto.com), a leading global supplier of technologies to improve the safety and efficiency of commercial vehicles, today announced that its Remanufacturing Solutions business has been named "Most Popular Remanufacturer" by the China Association of Remanufacturing (CAR) in association with Duxes, a leading remanufacturing consulting firm based in Shanghai. The award, which was presented recently at a ceremony in Shanghai attended by dignitaries from CAR and the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission, among other government and industry officials, recognizes WABCO Reman Solutions' well established local presence in China as well as the company's significant contributions to support the continued growth of China's remanufacturing industry.

As previously disclosed in June 2013, WABCO was granted a license by Chinese authorities to remanufacture air compressors in China for commercial and off-highway vehicles, the first and only supplier in China authorized to conduct this type of remanufacturing activity. WABCO Reman Solutions in China is remanufacturing air compressors for China National Heavy Truck Corporation (CNHTC) and customers in the independent aftermarket, among other vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.

Separately, as reported in January 2014, WABCO Reman Solutions was named "Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year" by the Heavy Duty Remanufacturers Group of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association based in the United States. The organization recognized WABCO Reman Solutions for demonstrating the highest level of leadership and vision in the industry, including dedication to quality and innovation; outstanding customer service; technical excellence across a diverse product portfolio, and global capabilities.
