Virginia Commerce Bank proudly announces the recent appointment of Christopher
J. Ewing as ExecutiveVice President, Chief Operations
Officer. Mr. Ewing joins the Bank with over 26 years of experience
in the financial services industry. Most recently he was Senior Vice
President of Retail Banking Operations and Support Services for
Beneficial Bank in Philadelphia. Previously, he held similar senior
management positions at Capital One Bank and Commerce (TD) Bank. With
expertise in strategic planning and project management, Mr. Ewing will
play a pivotal role in taking the Bank’s operations and technology
systems to a higher level of sophistication, further enhancing the
Bank’s reputation as Northern Virginia’s premier community bank. In his
new role, Mr. Ewing will be responsible for the strategic management of
all operations and technology of the Bank, including deposit and loan
operations, loan administration, information technology, and business
process improvement.
