The Thai Fund, Inc. (NYSE: TTF) (the “Fund”) announced today that the
Fund’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders has been adjourned until August
22, 2012, to allow additional time for the solicitation of proxies. The
reconvened Annual Meeting will be held at the offices of Morgan Stanley
Investment Management Inc., 522 Fifth Avenue, 3rd Floor, New York, NY
10036, at 9:30 a.m. ET. Only stockholders of record on June 14, 2012,
will be entitled to vote at the reconvened Annual Meeting of
Stockholders.
