Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico Reports Passenger Traffic Increase of 14.9% for the Month of November

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V., (NYSE: PAC) (BMV: GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) announced preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of November 2016, compared to traffic figures for November 2015.

During November 2016, total terminal passengers increased 14.9% in the Company’s 13 airports, compared to the same period of the previous year. Domestic passenger traffic increased by 19.7%, while international passenger traffic increased by 7.8%.

  • Seats and Load Factor: In November 2016, GAP registered a 13.4% increase in the number of seats available compared to November 2015. Load factor for the month rose by one percentage point, from 77.7% in November 2015 to 78.7% in November 2016.
  • New Routes: Puerto Vallarta to Montreal by Air Canada.
  • Domestic Market: The Tijuana airport reported 29.5% domestic traffic growth. Guadalajara experienced an 18.1% increase stemming from routes to Tijuana, Cancun and Monterrey, which grew a combined 29.8%. VivaAerobus and AereoCalafia remain the airlines with the highest percentage growth in the domestic market in the Company, with increases of 68.4% and 56.0% respectively.
  • International Market: In November, the 2016-2017 winter season officially began. The Guadalajara airport reported its highest total international traffic growth during this month, mainly driven by the Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle markets. The Montego Bay airport was the beach destination with the highest reported percentage growth for the month, driven by United Airlines and Thomson Airways, which experienced traffic increases of 53.2% and 46.8%, respectively.
