Oklahoma Web and communications professionals will convene April 14-15
at Oklahoma City’s Metro Technology Center for the Information
Professionals for Oklahoma (IPro) 2015 Conference.
Conference sessions are tailored to public sector communications and Web
professionals from state agencies, city government and services, higher
education institutions, corporations, non-profits and developers
interested in skill building.
“We are very excited about what is in store for our participants. The
primary focus of the conference is on practical solutions presented by
those who are designing, developing, or managing websites, Web services
and communications, and social media presences in their organizations,”
said Brenda Dawes, IPro conference coordinator. “Our goal is to create a
place for any Web or communications professional looking to enhance
their skills to convene, discuss and learn.”
Registration
is $75 and includes access to the presentations and workshops on both
April 14 and 15 (subject to size limits on some programs). A continental
breakfast and buffet lunch session is also included.
Conference speakers will present ideas, designs and information on
topics including accessibility, social medial, Web analytics, and
content management systems. Sessions are designed to allow agencies to
begin implementing immediately following the conference. The conference
is also an opportunity to meet and network with people in the industry.
